Apple Sauce

Ingredients

1kg Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and quartered

60g caster sugar

Pinch cinnamon

Method

Insert the ultra-blade into the i-companion bowl. Add ¼ cup of water, apples, sugar and cinnamon.

Close the lid and start cooking at speed 3 at 100°C for 20 minutes.

Note: to make a savoury sauce for roast pork add a splash of apple cider vinegar and a pinch of Chinese 5 spice instead of cinnamon.
